I love series that allow me to get to know and love the characters. This first installment in the Deviants series introduces a cast of characters that I instantly wanted to know better. The character development gives the reader knowledge of the main players' strengths and flaws, while giving me a peek at their fears. They are involved in emotional and physical action that allows the reader to see them grow throughout the story. When the next book is released, I will definitely reread Ignite so I can put the whole story together.Product details

I liked the length. I loved that it gave the excitement, the suspense, love, honesty, and a small hint of romance. I hope to read more from this story line.

Gripping from the first page, Kathryn Carter delivers a story that kept me hooked and wanting to know what happens next. I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters as I discovered more about them. This is a promising start to what I'm predicting will be a lucrative franchise. I feel honored to be a part of the impetus and to watch this author's star rise.
This is a story that introduces you to several strong characters. There are special abilities that have to be learned, honed and controlled as the teen age twins learn how to fit in at a new and different school. I liked the action scenes. This is a great book for anyone who likes action and reading about assimilation. I am already waiting for the next book.

This was a fantastic tale of twins with powers going to a special school. The teachers in the story were authentic characters. I can't wait to see what happens during the twins' sophomore year.
