I have read all of this writer's books and even being a short story, it was exceptional in every way. I really loved the two book feathers series. Hope there is more to come. Apocalypse,1'2'3' also excellent. Buy them. You will not put them down.
John Grit is an excellent author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book (), as I have all of his other works. Therefore, I highly recommend this author and this is a great read.
Well written. A story of honest cops working hard to provide justice for a slain deputy and their struggle against lowlife drug dealers who do not want to give up information that is needed to hunt down a cop killer. These cops do not plant drugs on anyone or beat confessions out of them. What they do is work day and night to catch a murderer and build legitimate cases against other lowlifes in the process. The story depicts rural people as they are some are lowlifes, others are good people working the jobs available to them, raising their children the best they can and living within the law. It's great to read an entertaining story about good cops who care about justice.
JohnGrit has always been one of my most favorite writers. This novel didn't disappoint me at all. Great character development, intriguing story and as always very realistic, I am alvoss05 at yahoo.
As a novella it was timed perfectly. A well executed story in this format. Great job on character development quickly but not rushed. Passion and dedication of Three persons is outstanding.
Not a very interesting read. Not a book just a short chapter. Language and spelling OK, but that is about the best that can be said.!!!!
All action and no BS romance or long dissertations about the gunshot wound. Bad guys ended up dead. That's good.
